Having moved into Edwinstowe House at the end of October, Upbeat Design have recently moved into larger office space to allow room for continued growth. Part of the reason was to accommodate some new in-house printing equipment and the other was to have sufficient additional space for a further designer. Managing Director, Neil Duckmanton said “We’ve settled in nicely at Edwinstowe House and everyone here has been great. We’re looking forward to what 2016 has in store for us as we continue to implement the things we have planned…”
Important New Clients
Upbeat have a broad mix of clients, from individuals through to corporates and local operators to clients operating globally. Whilst they have picked up a number of new clients recently, they are now pleased to have become a preferred supplier to two companies.
Switch2 are based in Shipley and specialise in metering, billing and prepayment services for community energy. Upbeat Design picked up this work via their Marketing manager, for whom they worked previously when she worked at CINTAS and prior to that, at Transaction Network Services – a long term client of Upbeat.
The other important client they have been getting more and more work from is the Beacon Hospital in Dublin. The Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility which offers a wide range of specialised services. This came about via their partnership with CARE Fertility – the UK’s largest Independent Fertility Services provider – who are another long term client of Upbeat.
Luke Earnshaw, one of Upbeat’s designer’s said; “As with most clients, we started off during the early part of 2015 by helping with a number of smaller design requirements for the team at Beacon, mainly around their Fertility services. The last few months has seen us now dealing with more contacts there and getting regular work from them, despite there being a number of design companies/agencies in and around Dublin. They seem to be happy with us and keep sending more work our way, which is fine by us!”
